Weekend Website Warrior
Template Tuning Service is launching a new initiative called “Weekend Website Warrior” (code name WWW). The goal is to deliver high quality websites within the time frame of one weekend for clients with budgets of $950 or less. The first project SyrianLegacy.com was completed during the weekend of January 27, 2012. The development marathon began Friday evening and completed Sunday afternoon, adding up to approximately 18-20 hours of work.
Syrian Legacy is a non-profit organization that publishes obituaries of peoples of Syrian heritage. According to its founder, Charles Chehebar, “Syrian Legacy is a website that captures the life stories and lessons of our Sephardic communities loved ones.” The website was built on the Drupal 7 platform and allows users to easily submit obituaries, which are then subject to administrator approval. The site administrator receives an email notification whenever new obituaries are submitted. The website also offers a glossary of obituary nodes organized by the last names of the deceased, and an infinite slide-show of obituaries.
The Weekend Website Warrior initiative offers a great avenue for non-profits and small businesses to get a professional website up and running fast. What makes it truly great is that through this initiative, clients can achieve unique websites that help improve business processes and ofter true value to their customers. More than basic brochure websites, WWW clients can get websites with content manage systems that are customizable to their specific needs, in addition to other modules to achieve advanced features like galleries, slideshows, glossaries, user profiles, permission-based content, surveys, quizzes and more. Template Tuning Service also offers full learning management system development and ecommerce development at equally affordable prices.
